Science with Parents Wednesday 7 September 2011 - Wednesday 28 September 2011
The transition from primary to secondary school can be as significant a change for parents as it is for students. As your son or daughter make their way through secondary school, their homework may become less and less comprehensible. Science homework can be particularly challenging!
re-science, with CSIRO Education, is trialling a pilot program to help parents feel more comfortable helping their children with science homework and science-related activities.
This program is not designed to squeeze the entire lower secondary science curriculum into your head, but hopes to provide some skills to help your teens explore and research science, and understand scientific methods and processes.
We are inviting parents with children in years 7 and 8 to take advantage of this FREE four-week program.
