Pre-Coital – the Science of Dating @ Melbourne International Comedy Festival Upcoming Event Wednesday 28 March 2012 - Saturday 7 April 2012

The Kelvin Club, Melbourne Place, Melbourne
Can science help you find your perfect match?

This hilarious mix of music, comedy, sketches and science poses a simple question: can science help you find your perfect mate? Chris KP (and live band) explore pheromones, faces, the physics of condoms and much more.

Pre-Coital considers topics such as

• the odds of actually meeting your mate
• the biology and evolution of physical attraction
• the mysterious world of pheromones
• the complex realm of the emotions
• condom physics, and sperm counts

Entertaining and informative, Pre-Coital was described by the Canberra Times as the “pick of the Festival”. It offers the audience an understanding of life’s most powerful forces and society’s most compelling and tantalising topics of conversation. This is achieved not from schoolyard giggles, public bar theories or old spouse’s tales, but from the rational, objective and fascinating viewpoint of science.

"It is also rare to find someone who can improvise as naturally and as cleverly as Chris." ArtsHub
