Sugar Science demonstrations:
Have you ever stared, fascinated as the confectioners at the Suga Candy Shop in the Queen Victoria Market stretch kilos of sweet, stretchy sugary goodness into tubes of deliciousness? Does your mouth water at the mound of hard rock lollies lining the Suga Shop shelves? Join us at the Suga Candy Shop for a demonstration of rock candy making and discover some of the science behind the lollies. Engaging science sugar-experts will be on hand to entice you into the science used to create your favourite snacks!

The Cheese Man - on the main Stage!
Fancy a little fermented curd? In an energetic performance see the Cheese chatter about his favourite subject and discover the microbes that turn your milk into cheese and create those prized veins of mould in this delicious, edible product. Several performances throughout the day.

Living Science at the Market is a City Science event brought to you by National Science Week.
